How to Make Jello Shots

Making jello shots for a party or a small get together always seems like a great idea. Making Jello shots takes the traditional way of drinking your favorite alcoholic shots into a colorful, tasty jello treat. To make the perfect jello shot can be a little tricky, especially for the “drink mixing” Impaired, Simply just adding a Jello packet to some vodka will result in a grainy, goopy mess that taste worst than it looks.

To Make Jello Shots You Will Need:

Ingredients
3 oz of your favorite flavor of Jello (one package)
5 oz.  of your favorite vodka
8 oz. boiling water
3 oz. cold water

tiny cups

Where’s The Best Place To Get Those Little Plastic Cups
Amazon – 2 oz Plastic Jello Shot Cups with Lids- 125ct – Great deal for a bulk package
Amazon – Gelatin Plastic Shot Glass with Lid 2-1/2-Ounce, 40-Pack, Clear – the clear cups look nice but cost a little more

First thing you want to do is get your boiling water on the stove. Once your water is at a boil, Open and your 3oz package of jello into 8oz of boiling water, Stir and mix well. Once the Jello is fully mixed add 3oz of cold water in, Then pour in 3oz of any kind of vodka, You can trying using different flavored vodka to mix if you want to mask the taste of the alcohol. When you are done mixing in your vodka, Pour into little cups, I have used little paper Dixie cups and they work fine but the plastic “ramican” sauce cups, the sauce containers that you get when you get take out at a restaurant.
You can go to your local grocery store and find these cups. Once you are done pouring, Set the jello shots on a tray and refrigerate them for 2 hours or as needed.

You can always add more or add less alcohol according to your preference, But be careful adding to much alcohol will not turn into gelatin. My suggestion is to make different batches and find a combination that works and taste best for you.

Be careful, jello shots can be very tasty and eating to much can resulting in getting sick or even alcohol poisoning, Treat jello shots like taking a regular alcoholic shot. Have fun and enjoy your jello shots, and drink responsibly.
